Writing Journey #37 | Timeline of Events 2025
I’VE ALWAYS HAD A TIMELINE OF EVENTS. I wrote about my plans for the Adventures of Rel Rel saga back in Writing Journey #18, #27, and #36. A lot has changed but the overall goal is still pretty much the same. I just changed a lot of the names, again.
For the entire lifespan of the Adventures of Rel Rel saga, I have been concentrating on the Kiajin Knights. I once changed their names to the Hands of Creation, but have since decided to keep their names as the Kiajin Knights.
I wrote down the lore and history of the Kiajin Knights over the past few weeks, and have been fleshing out their story. I came up with the idea that the name Kiajin is based on the last name of four siblings. Two brothers, and two sisters, named Malidimus “Mal”, Razruill “Raz”, Palladima “Pala”, and Vambiellim “Vambi”. They were the first Kiajin Knights.

The Adventures of Rel Rel Lost Mirror
LOST MIRROR is the beginning of the story. It sets up Rel Rel, her past, her relationship with Lily, and the mirror.
Rel Life: Social Panic
SOCIAL PANIC IS BASED on an idea I had for a webcomic. It follows Rel Rel’s everyday life, as she deals with people and severe social anxiety. It’s pretty much a way for me to vent my frustrations on society through writing. It’s more slice of life than anything else since there won’t be any fantasy elements. Rel Rel is 15-years-old, here.
Adventures of Rel Rel Malidimus Mages
MALIDIMUS MAGES is the story where Rel Rel falls into the Muse Realm. Malidimus Mages kicks off the events of the entire series. It takes place on the eve of Rel Rel’s 16th birthday.
Adventures of Rel Rel Palladima Paladins
PALLADIMA PALADINS is based on a book I wrote a long time ago. It will essentially be the polished, finished version of the story I wrote when I was 13 years old. Characters have been reworked, scenarios cut, and ideas streamlined, but it will follow the events of what I had initially planned. Rel Rel must make amends for her decisions in Malidimus Mages. These events take place when Rel Rel is 17 years old.
Adventures of Rel Rel Razriull Reapers
RAZRIULL REAPERS is going to cover the back story and purpose of Gamin and the other 6 Malidimus Mages. You’ll learn their purpose and the reason they have been following Rel Rel. Rel Rel is 19 years old when Razruill Reapers takes place.
Adventures of Rel Rel Vambiellim Ventriloquists
VAMBIELLUM VENTRILOQUISTS is a story I am most excited to write. It’s the end. The finale. Where everything just goes nuts! I’ve had this story planned out, written in my head, and ready to be put on paper for ages. I have an entire playlist dedicated to this one book, where each song is specific to every chapter. I’ve seen the events in my head play over and over… and I am writing all the books in such a way that they build to this one moment. So excited to write it! In this final story, I plan for Rel Rel to be 21 years old when the books conclude.
