I CREATED A WORLD for my story, based on Earth, I guess. Throughout the Adventures of Rel Rel saga, Rel mentions that certain Muses have accents from various regions. There are five Muse types: Creator, Musician, Chef, Artist, and Writer. Each Muse has a specific accent, although that doesn’t mean their language or culture mirrors their specific accent, or that they’re actually speaking that language. It’s just similar enough that it’s how Rel recognizes and categorizes the Muses so that the reader can understand.
Creators: Everwhere (British) accent
Musicians: Evermore (Scottish) accent
Chefs: Nevergone (Spanish) accent
Artists: Everall (West Country) accent
Writers: Neverthere (Western) accent
I CREATED THIS LIST so that I could keep track of the accents, a reference sheet I use to keep track of things, for each specific Muse and character. Is there a reason why each Muse type has these accents? Yes. Because I like them and I think they sound cool. They’re essentially just a list of accents that I find awesome or interesting. It isn’t any deeper than that.
THESE PLACES are based on the real world. So, it is a list of places in Rel’s world, aka the human world, aka reality, and aka Earth, to us. This is Rel’s world, where the Ephemerals (which is what Muses call normal humans) come from. For instance, Rel was born in the city of Neverwhere. Whereas her parents were born in Whengone.
