Favorite TV Shows 2025 | Inspiration
Just like cartoons, TV shows have always been a wonderful source of inspiration. My childhood was filled with sitting down to the TV on a Saturday morning or the afternoon after school with my younger brother Niko, absolutely immersed in television shows. And as an adult, I have come to love other shows that have fueled my creativity. It started with cartoons, which I still love, but I have delved more into live-action like Doctor Who and The Originals.
I know a lot of people say television rots your mind. And it may. For some people, especially for those without any creative influence. But I think for creative individuals, it’s a brilliant source of inspiration! The stories, the characters, the worlds, and the emotional impact that a good show can have on the creative mind are unmatched!
These are some shows that have fueled me as an indie YA fantasy writer!
CURRENTLY LISTENING TO Kingdom Hearts III Soundtrack “Oscurità di Xehanort”. I know KH3 got a lot of hate, but I really enjoyed it! This battle was so cool. I still wish it was a huge war between the Keyblade wielders and Organization XIII but it was still fun!

These are shows that not only hold a fond place of nostalgia in my memory, but also shaped and dictate how and what I create. There are shows that I watched and enjoyed, but aren’t something that attribute to me as a creator, inspirationally.
Like Full House, The Wonder Years, Alf, The Cosby show, Saved by the Bell, Punky Brewster, Fraggle Rock, Silver Spoons, Growing Pains, Fresh Prince, Who’s the Boss, How I Met Your Mother, Married with Children, Salute Your Shorts, Step by Step, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Family Matters, Perfect Strangers, Doogie Howser, Mama’s Family, Friends, Hanging with Mr. Cooper, Sister Sister, Everybody Love’s Raymond, The Nanny, Buffy, Home Improvement, Martin, 3rd Rock, News Radio, Moesha, Dinosaurs, King of Queens, 7th Heaven, Party of Five, Lost in Space, Wings, Goosebumps, to name a few (not to mention all the classic Disney movies and some other shows from the 80s-90s that escape my mind at the moment).
I have fond memories, of them though. And I may have been shaped by them in some way, but they didn’t have as much of an impact as my main list.
