Inktober Day 3: Desert Gear- Daily Doodle

INKTOBER DAY #3- DESERT GEAR! The Caitober prompt for 2019 was Desert Gear, so here is Rel Rel wearing some clothes meant for sandy areas. This is a Chef uniform that Rel Rel wears in the story, once she gets the power to transform into other Muses. This is the first form that she learns.

THE CREATURE FLOATING next to her is called a Galafold. Galafolds are creatures in the Muse Realm. This particular Galafold can turn into a flowing hood and cloak that Rel Rel eventually wears, all the time when she’s in her Chef form. And of course, it can rematerialize into its beast form, leaving Rel in the form she’s in for this image.

I’D LIKE TO CREATE an image zoo of all the Galafolds in the story. I think it’d be cool to have them slightly animate, like gifs, or something. There are five types, at the moment, each based on the different Muses: Writer, Creator, Chef, Musician, and Artist. This Galafold, that Rel Rel has, is, of course, a Chef Galafold. 

I WANTED TO ADD MORE detail to this drawing, but I opted to keep the cross-hatching, and all, to a minimum, since this was for Inktober. The idea was to keep it simple so that I could bust out drawings like nobody’s business! But that kind of fell through because of some issues. But, I plan to continue Inktober, even if it takes me well through December! I’ll be posting new drawings, saying theirs for Inktober, so that may be cheating. But hey, I will finish!
