Video Games on Easy Mode | Inspiration

Do you play video games on easy mode?

Honestly, I play on easy mode all the time. I don’t don’t give a fug about the challenge. I actually play games to experience the story, enjoy the characters, get inspiration, and just chill and relax. Just vibe, explore and wander around to see what I can find. I believe that video games inspire creativity, so that’s why I play. Video games are the fuel that I use to write my stories and draw.

This is why I mainly play story-driven games like Kingdom Hearts, Fallout, Final Fantasy, and Psychonauts, to name a few. Believe it or not, I also play Fortnite for the story and characters, even though the large majority of people don’t. But that’s how I roll, son!

I guess it depends on why you play. Some people play for the challenge, or like me they play for the story, others play to relax, while some play to experience the game as it was intended, and some play to lose themselves and get lost in the moment. Which is why I tend to avoid Souls and Rogue-like games.

I for one get no pleasure playing on hard or nightmare modes, and overcoming a challenge in a video game means nothing to me. It’s just frustration and irritation. Not a good time. And I don’t play video games to be stressed out. But if that’s your thing, do you dude? As long as you enjoy it and it’s meaningful to you, that’s all that matters.
