Writing Journey #35 | Streaming?
IT’S BEEN AWHILE since I’ve written or updated anything. Probably because over the last year, I just stopped. I stopped writing, I stopped drawing, and I barely made any videos. I was depressed for a long time, and it just seemed like life wouldn’t let up. I covered a bit of it in my 2024 post so far… but I’ll elaborate on that in another post.
AS FOR MY WRITING? I started again. Slowly. Um, let’s see, well I changed the name to the first book in my series to Adventures of Rel Rel and the Paper Dragons. I decided to use the Adventures of Rel Rel from my short story, The Adventures of Rel Rel Lost Mirror, and just dropped the “The” and carried it over to my novel series. So the books will all be Adventures of Rel Rel and [add threat].
I PLAN TO PUBLISH ON KDP. Adventures of Rel Rel and the Paper Dragons is done. It’s written, and I have the pages all set. I just need to have a few beta readers read it, have an editor look it over, and then hire a cover artist. The book is done, I’m just trying to save enough money to afford beta readers, an editor, and a cover artist. Otherwise, I’d post it now!
I HAVEN’T WRITTEN AT ALL. So, there are 4 more books in the series. 3 of them are just ethereal ideas that are vaguely written, and the other is in the rough draft stages at best. The book in the rough draft stage, that I am currently writing, is called Adventures of Rel Rose and the Hydra Lady.
THE OTHER THREE NOVELS are tentatively titled: Adventures of Rel Rel and the KIAJIN KNIGHTS, Adventures of Rel Rel and the ANCIENT ASSASSINS, and the last book Adventures of Rel Rel and the PUPPET’S REQUIEM. These have all been outlined, written in my head, timed to a playlist of emotional music, and are ready to see the light of day. But none of them are written, just planned. But I guess most writers say that. So many ideas, lost that don’t see the light of day.
I’M WORKING WITH A TIKTOK AGENCY! Joined them earlier this year. I plan to start upping my video output and streaming almost every day. Time to be productive! To help me continue to write, I will stream Write with Me, Draw with Me, Animate with Me, and Behind the Mic content where I concentrate on writing my novels, drawing characters and scenes, animating parts of the story, and adding voices to characters using DubbingAI.
I hope to be more productive, have fun, and introduce more people to my story and characters through these segments. I will also stream on Twitch at the same time, and post an archive of the full streams on my YouTube channel.
I GOT A SPONSORED GIG! A company that creates sleep masks, called Manta Sleep, reached out to me via email and asked me to create 3 paid sponsored videos on my channel! It’s so cool! The first video is up, check it out! It’s my first time doing this, and it’s a blessing and a rare opportunity! And it was fun. I plan to have the other 2 videos out in the following weeks.
AT THE MOMENT I am setting up OBS to get ready to stream on Twitch and TikTok. I also started using SUNO AI 4.0 to create music for my channel, streams, and videos! It’s an amazing program and I am really happy with the music I’ve created so far. It’s so freaking cool, dude! I am hoping to start streaming and posting videos consistently in the next few days.
I’M IN A NEW CITY. I’ve been blessed with new opportunities. And I will start writing, anew. The Lord is with me and blessing my steps. I feel like a breakthrough is within reach. It’s time to start writing, finishing my stories, and getting my characters and worlds out into reality. It’s time, I’m ready! Let’s do this!
